I moved to Gloucestershire at 16 to study at Hartpury college and then never left. 15 years later putting in hours of dedication and hard work I find myself where I am today.
I found my love for Dressage whilst at Hartpury as I was lucky enough to have some training from the master Carl Hester, it was from that moment on I was hooked.
Over the years I have been very lucky to have had some amazing opportunities as well as amazing horses to ride and compete. I have competed successfully to Prix St George and along the way gained numerous regional and national titles with various horses. In recent years I have produced a number of young horses to national success and still have the drive and opportunity to do so until they reach a level to which I aspire.
Most recently my life has made a significant change from going from a full time professional rider, trainer and coach to being employed and therefore the sport I love becoming a sideline. This however doesn't reduce the drive I have to succeed in the sport.
I currently have three horses to ride ranging from novice to advanced medium, The youngest of the three is five year old Fandango who today qualified for the Shearwater Insurance Young Horse semi finals in the summer and as I have only recently taken on the rides my plan is to campaign them all for the winter championships 2018 once we have solidified our relationships.
I cannot thank Jess enough for this opportunity, she is an amazing photographer and hope this relationship can help each of us move forwards to where we both want to be!!
