My focus is eventing, I am passionate about everything I do, my sport and my
horses. I work part time with my father rearing our dairy heifers on the family farm, as well as at a gym teaching fitness classes.
My main aim is to campaign Tiddles at BE intermediate level/FEI 2* level, thus qualifying for the National Young Horse Championships at Osberton in October, Having just gone double clear in her first 1* this past weekend at Hambleden. Tiddles has also qualified for second round British Showjumping (BS) Newcomers.with the hope of qualifying for the Championship at HOYS. She is also registered for British Dressage (BD) this year, and I am looking to qualify for the Winter Combined training Championships in May, and if time allows for the Summer or Winter Regionals at Novice,
Elementary and hopefully Medium.
Oppy is back in full training after an injury mid season last year, following a promising few runs at 2*. He will be aimed back at 2* this year, hopefully stepping him up to Advanced (his and my first ever advanced). He too, is being targeted at qualification for the BS seconds rounds in both Newcomers and Foxhunter.
Lily will mainly be aimed at BS 1.05 amateur classes with the aim of qualifying for the Scope finals, as well as the BD Novice and Elementary regional finals.
Lana is starting out in her competition career, so is on Riding Club (RC) teams including the Festival of the Horse RC championships and at BE90, before we planned to sell her.
Woody’s main aim is to get graded with the Sports Pony Society Studbook (SPSS) in September, but I will also aim to compete him in various unaffiliated competitions, dressage,
showjumping and eventing, hopefully culminating in a couple of BE events.
